Met Office issues yellow weather warning for thunderstorms in West Berkshire
Thunderstorms could be on the way for West Berkshire and parts of North Hampshire.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms and heavy showers.
It is sunny in the district today (Friday) with West Berkshire reaching highs of 30 degrees Celsius.
But a few heavy showers and thunderstorms are possible from 2pm to 9pm tomorrow (Saturday).
This could lead to some disruption.
The Met Office said there may be spray and sudden flooding which could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
Where flooding or lightning strikes occur there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to bus and train services.
It said there is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost.
There is also a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.
