Watch: Thatcham switches on its Christmas lights

Christmas has officially begun in Thatcham, beginning with the light switch-on in The Broadway.

A glow filled sky on Friday, December 3, as the Mayor hit the lights, whilst snow machines and confetti cannons released colour onto the crowds.

Yesterday (Saturday 4) saw many more performers entertain the town, from well known local choirs to famous Frozen characters greeting all the little boys and girls.

Again, there will be something for everyone again today (Sunday), with the Santa Fun Run starting at 11am.
