Newbury road closed as Thames Water fix water leak in carriageway

Part of a busy Newbury road is closed this morning after a water leak in the carriageway.

Boundary Road is currently shut between the mini roundabout at Racecourse Road and the junction with York Road.

There remains a large hole in the road this morning, as Thames Water continues to work on the issue.

A signed diversion is in place while the road remains closed.

West Berkshire Council has said that it expects the section of road to remain closed until Monday (November 29).
