Water leaks in Peasemore fixed, say Thames Water

Yesterday Thames Water told NewburyToday that it was planning to temporarily switch off the water supply to 350 properties in the village tonight (Tuesday) in order to fix leaks in Hatt Close and Field Road.
However, spokesman for the water company, Simon Evans has confirmed that the leaks, which have been ongoing for a number of weeks, were fixed last night.
He added: “We're sorry for the delay in getting this pipe fixed. There's no excuse. We will do better in future.”
