Weather bomb still set to hit West Berkshire tonight (Thurs)
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for gale force winds, with gusts of up to 60mph forecast. The warning will come into force shortly after midnight and is expected to remain in place until 9am.
Residents are also warned that the severe weather could cause disruption and power supplies into tomorrow (Friday).
The Met Office is urging the public to be aware of the risk that the weather may cause disruption to travel and power supplies on Friday, with gusts of wind up to 60mph expected.
A Met Office chief forecaster report said: “This is a very dynamic situation, and details of this development will likely change.
“As such, this alert will be updated in the coming days as confidence grows in track and timing of this low pressure system.”
