Yellow weather warning for ice issued across West Berkshire and North Hampshire as snow showers are expected to begin




After all the wind and rain of the past week, the district now has another weather warning coming into force this afternoon.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for ice from 3pm today (Monday) until 3am tomorrow morning covering the whole of West Berkshire and North Hampshire.

Snow showers are predicted to fall across the south this afternoon and into this evening, but with little expected to settle in towns.

However, icy surfaces are also possible throughout the evening as the snow showers pass through.

Residents are being urged to take extra care when travelling and to check on elderly or vulnerable neighbours.
