Met Office predict heavy rain and risk of flooding
TORRENTIAL rain is expected to hit West Berkshire and Hampshire tomorrow (Weds)
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of rain between 3am and 6pm.
It is predicting up to 40mm could fall in some places during that period and warned of the possibility of localised flooding in some areas.
People are also being warned to expect some disruption to transport
On the Met Office website, it says: "A frontal zone will move southeastwards across southern England through Wednesday before clearing away later in the day.
"This will bring some persistent rain to many areas, and as it clears, some locally intense rainfall is possible.
"Accumulations of 20 mm are expected fairly widely with locally 40 mm possible in some spots, although some places will miss the worst of the rain.
"There remains some uncertainty regarding the timing of the heaviest rain and so this warning will be kept under review."
