Welford Park to welcome guests for PACT charity's summer fundraiser
A rare opportunity to explore the stunning summer gardens of a historic Berkshire estate is coming next month – in support of a life-changing local charity.
Parents And Children Together (PACT) is inviting guests to its Family Garden Party on Wednesday, September 3, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm at Welford Park, famously known as the home of The Great British Bake Off.
This special summer event offers a unique chance to see Welford Park’s glorious gardens in full seasonal bloom, a treat not usually available to the public.
Alongside the breathtaking surroundings, guests can look forward to live music from talented performers Mia Mirch and Jaden M, lots of fun children’s games and activities, and the chance to enter PACT’s summer raffle with many fantastic prizes.
Delicious cakes and refreshments will also be included in the ticket price.
PACT has been building and strengthening families since 1911.
As a trauma recovery charity, it supports women, children and families through adoption services, its women’s community project Alana House, and its domestic abuse recovery programme Bounce Back 4 Kids.
PACT chief executive Natausha van Vliet said: “This is our fourth annual garden party, and we’re thrilled to welcome guests to Welford Park at such a beautiful time of year.
“Experiencing these gardens in the summer is truly special, and we’re incredibly grateful to the team at Welford Park for their generosity.
“Please join us for a memorable afternoon and help us continue our vital work supporting adoptive families, women facing multiple disadvantages, and children healing from trauma.”
Tickets cost £25 per adult, including refreshments and children’s games, and accompanying children will be admitted free.
Advance booking is essential – tickets are available via the PACT website until 5pm on Tuesday, September 2.
