CAMRA members visited, sampled and scored beers at all of the pubs, rating them as excellent in all cases.

“It was great that we have so many wonderful places to drink and enjoy ourselves,” said a branch spokesperson.

“It was a particular pleasure to see some new pubs in the Guide this time, but even some of those who had been left out were still great places for real ale.”

Mr Marshall congratulated each of the publicans in attendance, saying their listings were owed to all their hard work and dedication to serving perfect pints of real ale.
