West Berkshire dancers grace Newbury panto stage for 100th time

Phoebe Cowhig and Gina Wilson, both aged 12, first took to the stage over the Christmas season for the Robin Hood pantomime in 2011, and also appeared in Cinderella in 2012 and Jack and the Beanstalk in 2013.
Also performing this year are Natasha Curtis, Amber Betson, Isabelle Parker, Molly Masson, Georgina Jarratt, Sophie Little, Hannah White, Dulcie Wheatley-Hince, Amber Morrison and Abby Elliott.
They all attend local schools including Trinity, Kennet, The Downs, Park House, St. Bartholomew’s, Hermitage Primary, Kingsclere Primary and St John’s Primary, Wiltshire.
The dancers are split into two teams, the Dancing Dragons and the Funky Genies, and will each perform in half of the pantomime’s 64 shows.
The pantomime runs until Sunday, January 4. To book tickets, call the Newbury Corn Exchange box office on 0845 5218 218 or visit www.cornexchangenew.com/aladdin
