West Berkshire goes retro today
Hundreds of classic vehicles are expected to descend on the Racecourse Newbury this weekend as part of the West Berkshire Classic Vehicle Club's 21st annual show.
Money raised from the event will go to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and organisers are hoping to beat last year's total of £8,000.
An auto-jumble, tombola and a chance to win a ride in a number of classic cars, including a 1920 model T Ford, will run alongside the classic cars, motorbikes and military vehicles.
Entry is £5 for adults and free for under 14s.
Classic vehicles will also feature at Vintage Stockcross in aid of the Sutton Hall charity.
Part of Stockfest 2013, the event will feature craft and vintage stalls, teas from the Naafi girls and tunes and styles from the 40s and 50s.
The event will run from noon until 6pm at the Sutton Hall with £1 entry fee on the door.
But if that's not the one that you want, Grease is the word at Shaw House.
Bring a picnic and sing along to the classic hits from the 1978 hit movie on an open air screen at the 16th century house.
Doors open at 7pm and hopefully the summer nights will stay dry.
