West Berkshire men on drugs supply charge

Gary De’Oliveira, aged 34, of London Road, Newbury, and Arthur Desousa, 47, of Dee Road Tilehurst, were arrested last Friday in connection with supplying three kilos of the class A drug and drugs paraphernalia, at an address in Newtown Road, Newbury.
A third person, Vasil Rica, aged 35, of Southchurch Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, was arrested in Broad Street Mall car park, Reading, on the same day.
All three were charged on Saturday, and were remanded in custody to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday).
A 32-year-old woman from Newbury and a 32-year-old woman from Hillingdon were also arrested in connection with the above charges.
The Newbury woman has been bailed until February 10 and the second until February 11.
