West Berkshire revellers gear up for St Patrick's Day

WEST Berkshire is gearing up for early St Patrick’s Day celebrations this evening (Saturday).
As it coincides with the final Six Nations matches, hundreds of revellers are expected to descend on Newbury’s town centre and visit various pubs.
Bar Sport, in Bartholomew Street, will be holding a ‘kick the ball over the rugby posts’ challenge, where those successful will have the chance to win a pint of Guinness.
There will also be a range of St Patrick’s Day prizes handed out including hats and t-shirts and they will serve a special ‘Guiness Stew’ to mark the occasion.
We would like to hear if you’re doing anything special to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.
If you are please send any pictures and details to reporter Dan Cooper by emailing him at dan.cooper@newburynews.co.uk
