West Berkshire school celebrates its successes at annual awards ceremony

Around 350 guests attended the annual celebration at The Downs School which recognised students who had excelled throughout the year with around 100 awards, trophies and certificates.
Speaking before the event school spokesperson Julie Marriott said: “It will be fabulous to see so many former students returning with tales of university and life beyond the Berkshire Downs.”
The presentation was held from 7pm and was joined by guest speaker and Motivational Strategic Leader Suzie de Rohan Willner as well as Headteacher Chris Prosser and head boy and girl Robert Dickens and Poppy Kemp.
