West Berkshire to be hit by heavy showers and thunderstorms tomorrow says Met Office

A weather warning for thunderstorms has been issued for West Berkshire tomorrow.

The Met Office has said that heavy showers and thunderstorms may bring disruption to the district tomorrow afternoon.

The yellow weather warning for the south of England is between 1pm to 9pm.

It follows the extreme heat of today and yesterday, when a number of schools across the district closed or finished early.

Today is due be even hotter with temperatures rising rapidly across parts of the country, according to the Met Office.
