"What do you think of Hampstead Norreys"
Residents asked what they want to see improved in village over the next decade
HAMPSTEAD Norreys residents are being invited to have their say on what they would like to see improved in the village over the next decade.
It will be the first time in 10 years that people in the parish will be able to make their voices heard following the last questionnaire in 2006.
More than 80 per cent of households responded to that survey and the Parish Partnership Committee says £320,000 has been spent on what residents asked for.
Improvements include a new community shop, youth group, breakfast club at the school, a restored village well and new playground equipment in Dean Meadow.
The 2016 questionnaire has been sent to every household in the parish and people are once again being asked for their views.
The Parish Partnership says that, in order to achieve a similar level of success 10 years on, it is essential that as many residents as possible take part.
Households are being asked to return the questionnaire by no later than March 25 to the volunteer who will hand-collect it at a mutually agreed time and date.
Every household that returns a completed questionnaire will be entered into a free raffle for prizes including a £40 Community Shop voucher, a Living Forest Family entrance ticket, a White Hart pub ‘meal only’ voucher for two and a weekly supply of a dozen Beechwood Eggs for a month.
More information and updates will be provided via the Broadsheet and the Community Website (www.hampsteadnorreys.org.uk).
