Silchester Village Market Christmas edition, Silchester Village Hall, 4pm to 7pm.
50 stalls brimming with Christmas cheer, Christmas tunes playing throughout the evening, hot mulled wine and Christmas goodies available from the kitchen and Pizzeria Al Forno will be cooking up some pizzas to take home for tea.
Thatcham Christmas lights switch-on, from 5pm, switch-on at 7.15pm.

Saturday
Seven-year celebration event, Wash Common Library, Glendale Avenue, 10am to 12pm.
Come and celebrate Christmas and the seventh year that the library has been open and serving the Wash Common community. Enjoy mulled wine, tea, coffee and mince pies with squash and biscuits for children. Take the opportunity to browse the library and become a member and find out more about the community groups at the library.
Newbury Pride Christmas fair, Greenham Community Centre, 12pm to 4pm.
The LGBT+ charity’s first ever holiday fest will welcome Santa and three fairytale princesses with crafts, food, music and a Christmas Hamper raffle to get you in the festive spirit. Proceeds will go towards Newbury Pride in their work supporting the LGBT+ community in Newbury and West Berkshire.
Christmas craft market, St Mary’s Parish Centre, Church Lane, Burghfield, 12pm to 4pm.
Handmade gifts and products from local crafts people.
Jumble sale, Padworth Village Hall, 2pm.
Sunday
Christmas craft fair, Thatcham Garden Centre, 10am to 2pm.
Unique and handmade crafts and art that are great for Christmas gifts.
Memorial dog walk, The Berkshire Vet, Greenham Business Park, 10am to 12pm, suggested donation £2 per dog.
Raffle. Refreshments available from The Rolling Coffee Bean. Proceeds will be donated to West Berkshire Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Great Thatcham Santa Fun Run, starting from The Broadway, 11am, £15, under 18s £10, children under 8 £7.

The group will be rolling in the isles sharing their favourite Comin Verses.
