Newbury Soroptimists charity coffee morning, 10am to 12pm, Newbury Town Hall.

Raising funds for PALS, a youth club for physically disabled young people.

Christmas bazaar, Aldworth Village Hall, 10.30am to 12pm, free.

Free turkey tasting and mulled wine alongside Christmas cards and gifts, local-grown plants and homemade preserves.

Christmas fair, St Mary’s Church, Kintbury, 10.30am to 12pm, free.

Christmas gifts, Santa’s grotto, raffle, tombola, games, homemade cakes and more.

Woolton Hill and Highclere Village Market, Thorngrove School, 10.30am to 1pm, free.

The festive-themed edition of the market will feature a visit from Father Christmas as well as over 60 stalls selling local produce and Christmas gifts.

Christmas bazaar, St Mary’s Church, Speen, 12pm to 3pm, free.

Stalls selling toys, books, bric-a-brac, plants, produce and craft gifts. Also a tombola, letter to Santa, Christmas raffle and refreshments.

Horse tack sale, Padworth Village Hall, 1pm to 4pm.

In aid of Wessex Cancer Trust.

Project Africa bingo evening, 1st Thatcham Scout Hut, 6pm to 8pm, £10.

Pangbourne Choral Society Christmas concert, Falkland Islands Memorial Chapel, Pangbourne College, 7pm to 8.30pm, £10.

Sunday

Newbury Rotary Club Santa fun run, Market Place, 10.30am, adults £15, under 18s/students £10, under 8s £7.

Check in at the Market Place from 9am until 10am to be ready for a 10:30am start. It is not a race so you can walk as much as you like. Enter to support local charities or come along to enjoy the spectacle. Entry fee includes a Santa suit.

Christmas craft fair, Willink Leisure Centre, Burghfield Common, 11am to 4pm, £1.

Over 60 stalls and a raffle. Proceeds going to Berkshire Women’s Aid and Duchess of Kent Hospice in Reading.
