Christmas lights event with Watership Brass performance, children’s activities, refreshments and Cods and Rockers fish and chip catering. Raising money for the Children’s Ward and Charlie’s Day Unit at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.

East Woodhay Silver Band Christmas concert, East Woodhay Village Hall, 3pm, £6.

Performance from the Footnotes Choir as well. Raffle and refreshments. 12 and under go free.

Mayor’s carol service, St Lawrence’s Church, Hungerford, 6pm.

Carols by candlelight, Newbury Methodist Church, 4pm.

Carols by candlelight, St Mary’s Church, Speen, 6pm.

Followed by refreshments in the adjoining Majendie Hall.
