The Newbury Wool and Fabric Bargain Sale, The Kennet Centre, April 26 and April 27, free.
Some of the Newbury Stitch Fair favourites are returning for this two-day event, including Stitch Fabrics (Geoff Rosenberg), Brian’s Best Wools, Village Fabrics and Tessuti Patterns. The net proceeds of the Newbury Wool and Fabric Bargain Sale will be going to West Berkshire Mencap.
Farmers market, The Watermill Theatre, Bagnor, 10am to 2.30pm, £3.
There will be over 20 stalls offering a range of fresh artisanal food, drink and other natural produce, from cheese to honey, local beer and spirits to baked goods and chutneys. The Watermill’s Cafe Bar and Restaurant will be open with a delicious range of fresh seasonal refreshments.
Saturday
Woolton Hill and Highclere Village Market, Thorngrove School, 10am to 1pm, free.
More than 60 stalls including local produce (bread, honey, cakes etc.) as well as seven new stalls. Tea room with homemade cakes with all proceeds going to local charity Bridge for Young People. Thatcham Tornadoes running free football challenge.
Spring fair, St Mary’s Church, Kintbury, 10.30am to 12.30pm, free.
Lots of exciting stalls including costume jewellery and a tree of gifts. Super raffle of themed hampers and baskets. Fantastic tombola. Refreshments. All proceeds to church funds.
Sunday
Newbury Artisan Market, Northbrook Street, 10am to 4pm, free.
