Party in the Paddock, Newbury Racecourse. Award-winning DJ Sigala live after racing on Weatherbys Super Sprint Day. Tickets from £29.

Cobbs open air cinema, Cobbs Farm Shop, Bath Road, Hungerford, screening of Barbie: The Movie. Bring a suitable chair or picnic blanket to sit/wrap up with. Percentage of ticket sales going to Swings & Smiles. Opens 7pm, last entry 8.45pm for a 9.15pm start. Tickets £12.95 + £1.00 booking fee and food token £9.50 for a burger or hot dog and fries. Snacks and drinks available or bring a picnic.

Reading & District Angling Association Open Day with former England goalkeeper, and keen angler, David Seaman. At Farnham Flint complex, Cottage Lane, Pingewood, free admission and all welcome. Includes car boot, have a go sessions, presentations and celebratory speakers panel with David Seaman and Jamie Cook (Angling Trust CEO) in discussion at 2.30pm. Ample parking, on-site toilets and refreshments available all day.

60s, 70s, 80s disco with Kevin at Shaw Social Club. Members free, non-members £4.

Country and western dance, Woodlands St Mary village hall. Music by Pete’s C M choice. From 7.45pm until 10.45pm. Entry £6 and all welcome.

Sunday

Shaw House summer fair, from 11am – 4pm. Entry £2 (adults), children £1. Browse more than 60 stalls on the Great Lawn and enjoy refreshments from the café and bar. Creative crafts, a children’s magic show with Mr Muddle, meet and greet the Shetland ponies and a bouncy castle. Dog Show by National Animal Welfare Trust. The house and exhibition rooms will also be open.

Tuesday

Shaw Social Club music quiz, 8pm. £3 per person entry, teams of 6. All welcome and all profits to Newbury Cancer Care.

Wednesday

Pasta making class and dinner, from 6.30pm at Gourmet Pasta Co, Market Place, Newbury. Learn how to make fresh pasta, then enjoy a three-course meal including the pasta you’ve made.
