What's on in West Berkshire and North Hampshire: Hungerford Home Energy Show, Newbury One Community fun day and farm care project

There is plenty of entertainment on across the district to keep the whole family entertained this weekend.
Saturday
- Burghfest, Burghfield Common recreation ground, 3pm-11pm Friday, noon-11pm on Saturday. Beer, live music and family entertainment. All proceeds to Thames Valley Air Ambulance. www.burghfest.org.uk for ticket information
- Hungerford Home Energy Show, Hungerford Town Hall, 10am-4.30pm. Free advice on ways to improve your home including insulation, draught proofing, solar energy, heat pumps and more. Free entry, children welcome.
- Woolton Hill Market, Woolton Hill village hall and school playground, 10.30am-1pm. Stalls and refreshemnts. Local PCSO talking about community policing with their patrol car for visitors to take a look at.
- Macmillan coffee morning, Compton Village Hall, 10am-noon.
Sunday
- Foxglove Farm Care Project open day, Inkpen, 10am-4pm. Local food and crafts, tractor farm tours, vintage machines, barbecue. Adults £5, Children £2.50.
- One Community Cricket & Family Fun Day, Falkland Cricket Club, Newbury, 10.45am start. Berkshire Youth will be providing entertainment and activities for young people. Cultural dancing to start the event and a diverse selection of food available.
- Family Funday, St Thomas’ Infant School PTA, noon-3pm. Bouncy castle, face painting, barbecue, tombolas, toys, refreshments. Entry £1 adults, children free.
- Woolton Hill Sports Club 75th anniversary celebrations, 2pm-5pm. Free taster tennis coaching sessions, meet the coaches, see the facilities. Games, cake and fun. All welcome.
- Pangbourne Band, Victoria Park Bandstand, Newbury, 3pm-5pm.
Monday
- Newbury & District Gardeners Association, West Berkshire Indoor Bowls Club, Pyle Hill, Newbury, 7.15pm-9pm. Fact & Fallacy by Sparsholt horticulture lecturer Ray Broughton. £7 non-members or become a member on the night and pay just £5.
