Saturday 19
CANCELLED The Rock Choir, Parkway Shopping, 1pm-2.30pm. Singing some songs in The Debenhams Piazza and raising money for Newbury Soup Kitchen.
Meet Jack-in-a-Box, The Entertainer, Parkway Shopping, Newbury, 10am. This is a free event that will give shoppers and fans the chance to meet The Entertainer’s mascot, join the fun and even have a photograph taken.
Code Ninjas Newbury free game building session, 4.30pm-5pm. Discover how your kids can learn to code while building video games. Everyone welcome. Parents/guardians required to stay during this session.

Newbury Vegan Market, Market Place, 10am-3pm. A wide range of vegan stalls including delicious vegan street food, baked goods and sweet treats, ethical fashion brands, cruelty free cosmetics, arts and crafts, charities and outreach as well as free samples from our info tent. With a fantastic selection of local vegan brands and businesses there really will be something for everyone to enjoy.

To February 26, Half term inflatable fun, Kennet Centre, Newbury, 10am-4pm. I£3 for 10mins on a mix of inflatables just turn up on the day.
Make a medieval inspired badge, Hungerford Library, 10.30am-12noon. Half-term fun for children over four years. West Berkshire Council's Assistant Archaeologist Beth Asbury will be on hand to tell you about the 'seal matrix' on which your badge will be based. Phil Smither, the Portable Antiquities Scheme's Finds Liaison Officer for Berkshire, will also be with us to bring along some other archaeological 'finds' for you to see. Parents/carers need to stay with children under 8 years. All materials are provided for this free activity.

Burghclere miniature railway, Burghclere Sports & Social Club, 11am-3pm. Half term fun on the miniature railway.
Saturday 26
Wassail, Hampstead Norreys Shop Orchard, 1.30pm-4.30pm. Fun family event with all the noise and celebration of a traditional Wassail. Andy Fowler will lead a drumming workshop. There will be kings, queens and blessings for the trees and we’ll follow this all up with some circus skills. To really get into the swing of things, bring along a pan and wooden spoon (it’ll take a lot to wake the trees up!). Tickets £5 per person available from HNCS or by emailing hncshop@yahoo.co.uk

February Litter Pick, Moorside Kennet Heath, 10am-11am. We will meet at the Moorside Community Centre on Kennet Heath at 10:00 You can collect all the equipment you need - Picker, bag hoop, hi viz and bags and then head out picking. Come back at 11:00 to drop off your litter. Stay for a photo if you would like. Please bring reusable gloves and a reusable water bottle just in case you get thirsty. Bring a friend and make a social event of it while you chat and pick.
Young People and Children First Family Fun Run, Greenham Common,please arrive between 10.15am and 10.45am. Start times will be staggered. A fun and light-hearted event sticking to paths so off-road pushchairs should be fine and children must be supervised at all times. Money raised will be used to upgrade a bathroom at one of the charity's properties. Children and people of all ages are welcome to walk, jog or run a 3km route on Greenham Common. Dogs on leads are very welcome. A maximum of 50 runners are permitted at this event (as agreed with Bucks, Berks and Oxon Wildlife Trust) so please purchase tickets £15 in advance.
