The build up to Christmas continues and there is plenty of festive fun in West Berkshire and North Hampshire this weekend.
From light switch-ons to wreath making, there's plenty to get stuck into.
Thursday, December 1

Friday, December 2
Thatcham light switch-on, 5pm-7pm. The lights will be switched on in Thatcham under a sparkly Christmas tree and fake snow on Friday. Grab some warm street food and drinks and enjoy the evening entertainment.
Unplugged Open Mic, Ace Space, Newbury. Performer sign up 7pm. Bar and doors from 7pm.
Saturday, December 3
Newbury Choral Society Christmas Concert, St Nicolas Church, Newbury 7.30pm. Tickets £15 (£5 under-16s) available on the door or from www.newburychoral.org.uk
Victorian Christmas Fayre, Newbury, 10am-9pm and Sunday 10am-5pm. The event includes a wide range of market stalls with traders dressed in typical Victorian attire, alongside Victorian-themed roving performers, a Victorian carousel, live music and entertainment.
Thatcham Park School Christmas Fair, Thatcham Park School, 11am-2pm.
Christmas Wonderland, Frank Hutchins Hall, Thatcham 1pm-4pm. A local fundraising group has been appealing for donation items for hampers for elderly members of the community. It be drawing names for the hamper recipients at its Christmas Wonderland.
Jumble sale, Padworth Village Hall, from 2pm. In aid of Padworth Village Hall.

Monday, December 5
Carnival of Code, Code Ninjas Newbury, 124 London Road, until December 11 from 4pm-6pm. As part of Computer Science Education Week free drop-in sessions of coding activities. No booking is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tuesday, December 6
Christmas wreath making, Frank Hutchins Community Hall, Thatcham 10.30am-12.30pm. With the natural materials she has been harvesting from the Jubilee Sensory Garden, the town council's gardener has guaranteed a fun festive morning of wreath making. Listen to Christmas songs, enjoy refreshments and take your wreath home.
Kintbury Wildlife Group illustrated talk by Henry Oliver, director of the North Wessex Downs AONB, The Coronation Hall, Kintbury, at 7.30pm.
