Mini sustainable living market, 60 Northfield Road, Thatcham, 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Find out about where to recycle locally and how to get involved with sustainable groups within the community. Drop off empty sweet tubs to recycle for Macmillian. Come for a chat and a cup of tea and make a difference to the environment.

Jumble sale, Padworth Village Hall, 2pm.

Charm of Finches concert, ACE Space, 8pm to 10pm, £15.

Sister duo Charm of Finches from Melbourne, Australia, makes haunted tunes about love, grief and whispering trees; indie folk with many stringed things, awash with seamless blood harmonies traversing melancholy and wonder in equal measure.

Royal British Legion tea dance, Pelican Lane, Newbury, 8pm to 11pm.

Ballroom, sequence and Latin dancing. Live music from Jonathan Allan. All welcome. Admission £6.

Sunday

Jurassic Bark pack dog walk, Greenham Common, 12pm.

Meet by the Control Tower for an hour-long walk. In aid of WECare Worldwide, so please bring some coins along for the donation box.

Wednesday

Quiz night, Renegade Brewery, Yattendon, 7.30pm, £5 per person.

Tickets are non-refundable and must be purchased in advance. Please email taproomandkitchen@renegadebrewery.co.uk to book a table.

Thursday

Charity coffee morning, St Nicolas' Church Hall, 10am to 12pm.

In aid of Biojemmss, a charity supporting vulnerable children and families in Uganda. Stalls will include cakes, bric a brac and tombola.
