Saturday

Arts and crafts fair, The Base, Greenham, 10am to 4pm, free.

A craft fair featuring 50+ stalls of high-quality crafters and artists. There will also be live music, craft beer, Easter-themed family activities and community art installations. Also running on Sunday.

Tea and coffee morning, Newbury Town Hall, 10am to 12pm.

Organised by the Newbury Rotary Club. Cake and biscuits. Find out your blood pressure. Donations invited for Newbury Cancer Care.

Burghclere and Newtown Horticultural Society spring show, Portal Hall, Burghclere, 2pm, free.

Horticultural show with refreshments and plant stall. Prize giving at 3.15pm.

Basildon Horticultural Society spring show, Basildon Village Hall, 2pm to 4pm.

Flowers, plants and home-made preserves for sale.

Barfield Handbell Ringers concert, St Mary's Church, Thatcham, 3pm, £6.

"Spring is in the Air", 14 ringers with 97 handbells. £5 concessions, accompanied children free. Light refreshments will be available in the interval.

Blues music evening, The Red House, Marsh Benham, 7pm.

Local blues legend Rev Ferriday will be playing a wide repertoire of blues songs, from classic covers to original tunes.

Newbury Chamber Choir concert, St John's Church, 7.30pm, £15.

"The Way of the Cross", featuring Bruckner’s Sacred Motets and Liszt’s Via Crucis. Under 18s free.

Basingstoke Choral Society concert, The Anvil, Basingstoke, 7.30pm, tickets £13 to £27.

Performing Bach’s Mass in B Minor with period appropriate instruments. Concessions available.

Sunday

Spring food and craft fair, Shaw House, 11am to 4pm, adults £2 and children £1.

Explore the house and browse over 60 stalls offering artisan food, drink and locally produced crafts.

Monday

Illustrated history talk on Rudolf Hess, West Berks Indoor Bowls Club, 7.30pm, £3.

Given by historian Tony Eaton. Talk will focus on Hess' visit to Scotland and his mysterious death.

Wednesday

Family activity day, Shaw House, 10am to 3pm.

Easter-themed activities for children to enjoy.
