What's on in West Berkshire today?

Stuck for ideas on what to do? We've compiled a list of suggestions for you

LOOKING for something to do? There is plenty to keep everyone entertained in West Berkshire today.

CHALKFEST – a pavement chalk drawing competition - will be taking place in Newbury’s Market Place today.

It is free to Enter and open to people of all ages. All materials to use on the day will be supplied by City Arts; so all you need to do is turn up, pick a spot and create a unique chalk drawing on the market square paving.

The competition prize is sponsored by Craftsman Newbury Ltd.

Also on Sunday, the whole village of Yattendon will be given over to a feast of classic transport - from military heavyweights to push bikes.

Yattendon Estates has given its blessing to put on the celebration, which will be held at The Tithe Barn area and village hall, as well as part of the field opposite Yattendon Church.

The event, sponsored by Yattendon Classics and Garage, Pioneer Motors, Becchhill Garage, The Royal Oak Yattendon and Yattendon Estates, is free to both visitors and exhibitors.
