What's on in West Berkshire today (Sunday)
There is plenty going on today (Sunday) in West Berkshire making sure there will be something to entertain all ages.
Children will be able to build to their heart's content at a Lego Workshop in the Kennet Shopping Centre, Newbury with children’s drop-in session on throughout the day.
Shaw House will be holding a Christmas Fair from 11am until 4pm. Entry is £1 with children going free. There will also be a children's party with tickets costing £4 per child (including a present). For more details visit www.westberks.gov.uk/shawhouse or contact (01635) 279279.
In Bucklebury there will be a Christmas Tree Festival held from 1pm until 4.30pm, in the Memorial Hall, Upper Bucklebury with free entry.
And in Thatcham a Christmas crafts, family drop-in session will take place at the Nature Discovery Centre, Lower Way from 2pm until 4pm. entry is £1 per child and suitable for ages two to 10 years.
There is a tea and cake concert with accordian meastro Ben de Souza, at the Old Bluecoat School, Thatcham, at 4pm.
Tickets are £10 adults, £5 children and are available from Newbury Building Society Thatcham branch or on the door.
While in Beenham there will be a Christingle service at 4pm in St Mary's Church followed by a walk up to the green to switch on the lights of the village Christmas tree, at 5pm, with mulled wine, mince pies and a barbecue.
