What's on in West Berkshire today (Sunday)
There are plenty of things to do across West Berkshire this Valentine's Day to get you falling in love with the great outdoors.
There is a Hug a Tree Walk through Bowdown Woods from 10am to 12.30pm where you can join the Linking the Landscape project officer to find out more about Bowdown Woods.

If birds are more your thing then Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife trusts will be holding a Thatcham Bird Walk around the Nature Discovery Centre and reedbeds. From 2pm to 4pm visitors will be able to find out more about the birds that visit at this time of year.
Those wishing to take part are encouraged to bring a bird ID book, binoculars, camera and telescopes if you have them and are reminded to dress appropriately.

The Newbury District Ornithological Club will be holding a full day visit by car to Stanpit Marsh, Christchurch Harbour, for wintering waders and wildfowl. It will leaving Newbury at 8.30am. for more details call 01488 668482, all are welcome,
