What's on this weekend in West Berkshire and North Hampshire: Classic car show at Newbury Racecourse, markets and live music

Forever Loved Horse Therapy fundraiser, Ecchinswell Village Hall, 12noon-4pm. Lots of stalls, tombola, raffle, bouncy castle, Kingsclere fire engine and some rescue ponies.

Rectory Close Jammers, Victoria Park Bandstand, Newbury, 3pm-5pm.

Sunday

Hungerford Food & Artisan Market, The Croft Field Centre, 10am-1pm. More than 30 local food and artisan stalls, live music, street food, cooking demo, seed and plant swap, foil recycling. Free entry.

Classic Vehicle Show, Newbury Racecourse, 10am-3.30pm. 29th annual classic vehicle show raising funds for Blood Cancer UK. Refreshments, band side stalls, autojumble. Adults £5/children under 14 free

Ramsbury village treasure trail, Ramsbury Royal British Legion, 10am-1pm. A fun family quest solving clues and exploring Ramsbury. Cafe will be open for refreshments. £2.50 adult/ £1 child/ under threes go free.

East Woodhay Band, Victoria Park bandstand, Newbury, 3pm—5pm.

Chalkfest return to Market Place Newbury on Monday

Chalkfest, Market Place, Newbury, 10am-4pm. You will be allocated an area per household to create roughly a one metre square picture in a safe environment. It is free to chalk but CityArts asks for a donation towards the chalk if you want to enter the competition. More details at https://cityartsnewbury.co.uk/

Wednesday

Stockcross & Surroundings Historical Association, The Sutton Hall, Stockcross, 2pm. David Peacock, local historian, will be presenting a Question and Answer session. Non- members are welcome, cost £5 includes refreshments. Members are free.
