What's on this Easter Monday?

LOOKING to head out after eating all your Easter chocolate? Here's a few events taking place today.

Children can get up close with farm animals at Cobbs Farm in Hungerford today courtesy of Farms 2 Ewe.

The free event runs from 10.30am until 1.30pm and if the animals prove too much, the farm also has a play area for your little ones to let off some steam.

Watch out if you're heading to the Kennet Centre today as the characters from Despicable Me will be hidden around the shopping centre.

And if you find them you get to take one home. Entry forms can be found in the leaflet box in the main square.

Newbury's giant Easter egg hunt continues and you can collect your entry form from either the visitor information centre or 'the Easter zone' in Parkway. Follow the clues to find the giant eggs decorated by local primary schools and nurseries.

Return your entry form to the Parkway unit, for your chance to win a prize.

Entry forms can be collected from 10am daily and need to be returned by 4pm. The last date to return is Sat 18th, by 4pm.

Planning on heading out for a walk? Then why not learn more about Newbury on a guided tour led by historian Phil Wood.

Meet outside the Newbury Visitor Information Centre at the town hall at 2.30pm. Tickets cost £5.

The Kennet and Avon Canal Trust boat 'Jubilee' will set sail for the season today.

Tickets for trips, which start at midday and 2pm and last around 75 minutes, are available from the tourist and information centre.
