Kennet and Avon Canal Trust – Stone building, The Wharf, Newbury. The Canal du Midi – talk by Ron and Myra Glover of IWA Salisbury Group. The Canal du Midi dates from 1681 and forms part of the link between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean bypassing the sea route round the Iberian Peninsular.
