Over 80 quilts will be on display and there will also be traders’ stalls, a raffle, lucky dip, sales table, refreshments and more. Admission £3.50.

Concert in aid of Noreen's Kids, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Hungerford, 6.30pm
Pianist Christopher Burrows will play pieces by Brahms, Beethoven, Mozart and Chopin. All proceeds will go towards caring for children and young adults living with AIDS and severe disabilities in one of the poorest parts of Romania. Admission £15.

Halloween Party Night, Shaw House, 6.20pm-8.30pm
Halloween trails, apple bobbing and snapping in the grounds, plus indoor crafts, ghostly story time and trick or treating throughout the night. £6 per child.

Sewing sale, The Old Chapel Textile Centre, November 1-November 12
The Green Sewing Shop will take over the exhibition space for two weeks for a grand sale.
Illustrated talk on ‘The Most Flowery Places in the World’, Coronation Hall, Kintbury, 7.30pm
