For the musically inclined, there is a concert by the Cecilia Consort tonight.
Called A Little Jazz Mass, it will be performed in St. Nicolas Church, West Mills, Newbury, and will feature choral pieces by a number of composers.
The Cecilia Consort was formed by Janet Coxwell in 1990 from among the members of an ad hoc choir that was put together to sing the Mozart Requiem in the Newbury and District Arts Festival in the Summer of 1989.
Tickets, priced £15 (School age children £5) are available from Newbury Visitor Information Centre, in the Town Hall.

Racing fans are reminded that it’s Greatwood Day at Newbury Racecourse.
There are still a few places left for a Murder Mystery evening at John O’Gaunt School in Hungerford, with professional cast, three course meal, bar and raffle.
