Masks and stories are on the agenda at the Corn Exchange from 10am to 4pm.
The workshop will feature physical theatre, insect mask making and performances based on Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach.
Gates will open at 10.30am for the Betfair Super Saturday raceday at The Racecourse Newbury.
At 12.40pm, Denman and Sprinter Sacre will be parading in the Parade Ring, and two people will win the chance to meet Denman in a competition run at the event.
John Rankin Junior School in Newbury is hosting the Sing Your Socks Off event, from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
At 1.30pm, 250 soldiers from Afghanistan the 6 Battalion Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) will be marching through Hungerford in a Homecoming parade, after they decided to adopt it as their hometown.
The parade will start from the war memorial in the Memorial Gardens, travel along Priory Road and down the High Street to the town hall, where a salute will be taken by General Sir Mike Jackson to the accompaniment of the Hungerford Town Band.
The parade will then continue into Church Street where the library car park – which will be closed for the afternoon – will become a parade ground for wives and families.
