THERE are plenty of events to keep the whole family entertained today (Saturday) in West Berkshire.
Stilt walkers, acrobats, street entertainers will be out in force to keep people entertained at a special street party in Parkway.
Acrobatic stunt group Black Eagles will entertain town centre shoppers, while children’s entertainers and face painting will also be on hand to keep the youngsters amused.
Performances from local music artists Emma Lawrence and Adam Norton will take place on the main stage in Middle Street on the Parkway site.
Street passes are available in advance online at www.shopatparkway.com and a further 4,000 passes will be on offer on the day.
The pass will bring with it exclusive discounts to Parkway stores on the day, including 20 per cent off at H&M, Café Rouge, Animal and Ecco along with 15 per cent off at Fat Face and Joules.
A rock off cancer concert, organised by Inkpen resident Sarah Harry after she lost both her parents to cancer within 2 months of each other last year, will take place at the Blue Ball pub in Kintbury from 1pm.
Several bands including The Mini Band will be performing, while a raffle will also take place.
Up for grabs is a night away on the Isle of Wight, a family ticket to Newbury Show and a spa day at Donnington Valley Hotel.
Elsewhere, Kingsclere Primary Schoolwill be holding its fete in the school grounds from 12pm to 4pm with Go-karts, bouncy castle, face painting, stalls, raffle, games and prizes, licensed bar and food.

If sport is more your thing, Thatcham will be hosting Slough in the cricket, while Hungerford entertain Easton and Martyr W.
St Bart’s School summer fete, midday to 3pm. Outdoors if sunny and undercover if it rains. Come and join in the fun and help raise money for the school at the same time. Attractions include a barbecue, beer and Pimms tent, speciality food stalls, tombolas, plants and books, Have a Go games, live music and much, much more.
'Blues on the meadow' will take place in Aldermaston from midday to 11pm. The line up includes Will 'Harmonica' Wilde, Robin Bibi Band and Red Butler. There will be drinks and food on-site.
Compton village fete, on the recreation ground will be held from 12.30pm to 4.30pm.
There is also a Tennis Open Day at Hungerford tennis club, The Croft, from 10am to 2pm.
Adult and junior beginners are welcome and there will be a beat the ball machine competition.
