What's on today (Saturday)
The annual event, organised by the Volunteer Centre West Berkshire, will see 40 charities turn out to recruit new members.
This year’s theme is James Bond or country bumpkins and for 007 fans an Aston Martin V8 will be in front of the Corn Exchange as a marker that the fair is taking place.
Volunteer Centre director Garry Poulson said: MI6 won’t be recruiting, but you never know if one of our organisations is a front for something else!”
Last year’s event in June saw hundreds of people dress in a wartime Britain theme but was rearranged after heavy snow in January saw it postponed.
The event, funded by Jones Robinson estate agents and the Berkshire Community Foundation, will be held between 10am and 3pm at the Corn Exchange.
Once you're finished at the volunteer fair, pop over to St Nicolas Church to a performance of Peter and the Wolf at 3pm.
The church will also play host to Evening Chamber Music at 7pm, performed by London based chamber group Acacia Ensemble linked to All Souls Church.
There's also a chance to get closer to nature in the Big Garden Bird Watch and learn about the birds that visit your garden at the Nature Discovery Centre in Thatcham between 2pm and 4pm.
Kintbury pre-school will be holding a jumble sale at Preston Hall, Kintbury between 1pm and 3pm while Hungerford Primary School hold their own jumble sale at the school between 2pm and 3.30pm.
And the Woolton Hill village market will run at Woolton Hill church hall from 10am.
You can also take a twirl at the barn dance being held at St George's Church Hall, Andover Road from 7pm to 7.30pm, however entry is by ticket admission only.
