What's on today (Saturday)
Newbury Racecourse will once again be holding its popular firework display, which will be hosted by the Lions Club.
The fireworks will be set to music and the thousands of visitors who are expected to attend will also be kept warm by a barbecue, hot doughnuts and drinks.
Kids will be kept entertained with a funfair and a face painting.
Gates open at 5.30pm, with the fireworks starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5.
Food lovers will also be in for a treat, as the Newbury Food Festival returns with a special Hallowe’en theme.
At the event, in Northbrook Street and Bartholomew Street on both Saturday and Sunday, some 50 traders will be lining up to offer a range of mouth-watering street food offerings, as well as take-home produce and a variety of other products.
For those feeling brave, the chilli-eating competition will once again be one of the main highlights.
The free event is being run in partnership with the Newbury BID and was first introduced in the Market Square in June 2013.
It proved so popular that organisers have held three similar events since then.
If Sport is more your thing, you can catch some rugby action at Henwick at 2.30pm, where Thatcham will be hosting Bicester.
Hungerford Town FC will be in FA Trophy action as they host East Thurrock at Bulpit Lane.
