Poetry reading by the author Dr Ishak Nadeem, 3pm to 4pm, Newbury Library. Dr Nadeem has written a special book of poems to raise funds for Dingley’s Promise, a local charity that believes in the best start for every child. This is a free drop-in event. Toy Sale and children‘s books, 10am-1pm. St Nicolas church hall. Raising money to give some of the world’s poorest children a meal on Christmas Day.
