What's on today (Sunday)

The panel provides a map and a detailed description of the battle, which took place at Speen, Speenhamland, and Shaw on October 27, 1644.
Newbury Town Council and Speen Parish Council have been working jointly with the Battlefields Trust on the project and a battlefield walk and talks at Shaw House were held last year to raise funds to purchase the panel.
The Battlefields Trust, the national charity for the preservation of Britain's battlefields, provided the design and wording for the panel and led the fundraising efforts with support from Shaw House.
The panel will be unveiled by the mayor of Newbury, Jo Day, and the chairwoman of Speen Parish Council, Caroline Holbrook, at 2.30pm.
The East Woodhay Silver Band will perform a remembrance concert at the Royal British Legion building in Pelican Lane at 2pm.
Entry is free but donations to the Poppy Appeal are welcomed.
The West Berkshire Ramblers will be on their travels at two weekend walks today.
Take in the views on a four to five mile walk to Ladle Hill and back via Watership Down, starting at Wergs Farm near Sydmonton Court Lodge at 10.30am.
Or head off on a 9.6 mile route starting at Egbury at 9.30am.
