What's on today (Sunday)
HERE's what's going on today.
People are invited to tune in to Newbury’s radio rally today.
The Newbury and District Amateur Radio Society’s annual rally, now in its 28th year, is one of the largest events of its kind in southern England for anyone interested in radio communications, electronics or computing.
The rally offers the opportunity to buy and sell everything from the smallest components used for making equipment or projects, through to complete communication systems.
More than 100 trade and private sellers, plus live demonstrations of amateur radio making ‘on-air’ contacts around the world and national clubs and societies will exhibit at the rally, which takes place at the Newbury Showground.
The scheduled roadworks at the A34/M4 Chieveley junction will no longer be taking place, owing to the works finishing early, therefore road diversions will no longer be in place.
Entry costs £2.50 and gates are open to visitors between 9am until 4pm.

You can also try your hand at Pickleball.
In the run up to Wimbledon fortnight, Newbury Tennis Club and Newbury and Thatcham Pickleball Club will be turning Northbrook Street into two courts, from 10am to 4pm.
Pickleball was started in the summer of 1965 in the US to keep children active through the summer. The name is said to have come from the family dog called Pickles, who loved to run off with the ball.
Pickleball takes elements of tennis, ping pong and badminton and is played on a badminton-sized court with two or four players (single or doubles). Each player uses a solid paddle to knock a lightweight wiffle ball over a net.
In the last 10 years pickleball is said to have become the fastest growing sport in the US and is now catching on around the world.
Newbury and Thatcham Pickleball Club play indoors at Kennet Leisure Centre Thatcham, outdoors at Newbury Tennis Club and Henwick Worthy Sports Ground, Thatcham.

Families can learn more about farming and wildlife at an open day in Crookham.
Barley and Bees on the Farm educational fun day at Waterside Farm, Chamberhouse Mill Lane, will include games and creative activities about farming, food and wildlife, especially barley, bees and honey. Visit a wildflower meadow to hunt for mini-beasts, play farm bingo and meet a beekeeper. A picnic lunch will be followed by more activities including corn craft or making a mini-beast home.
As Waterside is a working farm, please do not take dogs.
On your marks... the Hungerford Hares host the annual Harey 8 run at 10.30am.
The start and finish will be at the Hungerford Rugby Club and the eight-mile route takes runners around a loop of the Triangle Field before heading out towards Hungerford Common.
There, runners will be directed on a course taking in the beautiful Port Down Common, before descending gently towards Templeton and Trinity Stud.
It then follows a circular route around footpaths, providing stunning views of Combe and of the countryside.
The runners will then return, via the common, back to the rugby club.
There will be a special memento for the finishers and unique trophies for the first, second and third male and female and the winners for various age categories.
Prior to the main race, there will be children’s fun runs of half-a-mile and one-mile distance at the Triangle Field, starting at 10am.
After the event, presentations will take place at noon and there will be a barbecue at the clubhouse, plus other refreshments for runners and spectators.
The race is part of Run West Berks, a series of four races taking place in May and June this year.
The event will raise cash this year for The Bruce Trust charity.
See www.runwestberks.net for more information.
There will be drama in Bradfield, along with opera and jazz, as the festival begins today and runs until June 25.
