Lots to do around the district

Hungerford antiques and flea market. 10am to 4pm in Hungerford Town Hall.

Hungerford Arcade model steam engine show. 10am to 4pm.

Ramsbury Silver Band, Victoria Park bandstand, Newbury. 3pm to 5pm.

NGS Open Garden, Sandleford Place, Newtown. 2pm to 6pm. Teas served in four acres with different areas of interest. Varied unusual plants.

Yattendon classic vehicle day, from 12pm. All kinds of vintage vehicles, stalls, refreshments. Free to enter cars and free to the public.

Thatcham family fun day and TSN Fun Run, Henwick Worthy sports ground. 11am to 4pm. Free entry.

The Cromwell Singers’ 40th anniversary concert, Newbury Methodist Church, 4pm. Tickets £6 available from Shoemakers Bookshop or on the door. Refreshments will be available.

Heath and the Wood Walk. Greenham Common; 2pm to 4pm. Join the local wildlife trust for a walk on Greenham Common and Bowdown Woods. A lovely mix of open heathland and ancient woodland. For more information and booking see www.bbowt.org.uk/what’s-on

Chieveley Village fete, Chieveley Manor, 2pm to 5pm. Traditional village fete with games and lots to entertain the children. Admission £1.50; children free. All proceeds go to local charities.
