Where to get your Coronavirus vaccine in West Berkshire
With many people now looking to book their booster vaccines the Newbury Weekly News looks at all the local venues you can visit to get yours.
The Kennet Centre Covid Vaccine Centre has moved to a new unit, the old Peacocks/Sainsburys store in the Kennet Centre, and is bookable via the NHS booking system.
Graham Jones Pharmacy in Lambourn has increased capacity and is also bookable via the NHS booking system.
West Berkshire Council has also announced that a Health on the Move Van will now be making its way through the district.
People aged 16 and over can drop in for their first, second and booster Pfizer doses. The second dose needs to be at least eight weeks apart and the booster needs to be six months after second dose.
The mobile centre will visit Kintbury Coronation Hall on Tuesday, December 14 and Wednesday December 15, from 10am-6pm
Thatcham Catholic Hall will see a visit from the Health Van on Thursday, December 16, from 10am-5pm.
It will then go to Riverside Community Centre on Friday, December 17, from 10am- 5pm.
It will also be at Woolhampton Village Hall on Saturday, December 18, from 10am-6pm.
There is also a Covid booster vaccine pop-up in Hungerford, between December 8 and 10, which can be booked at westberks.gov.uk/coronavirusvaccination
This pop-up is for people aged 40+ who need to get their boosters and there is limited walk-in availability.
