Whizzy lurcher cross seeking zippy new owner

A YOUNG lurcher cross is hoping to zoom into the tender care of a zippy new owner.

Whizz, a two-year-old Lurcher cross who came into Dogs Trust after fending for himself as a stray, is now looking to find a happy family to call his own.

Jenny Hopkins, assistant manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, said:
“Whizz is a playful boy who loves dashing around the garden during his playtime. He is looking for an active family with older children who could spend plenty of time playing with him and give him lots of fuss and cuddles.”

“This happy young lad is looking for a home with a secure garden where he can zip around the garden and stretch his legs. He would like to be the only pet in the home so he can have his new owner’s attention all to himself!”

Do you think that you could give Whizz a happy home? Why not pop into the rehoming centre at Plumb’s Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, RG20 0HR.

Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for nearly 17,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 20 Rehoming Centres in the UK and one in Ireland.
