VIDEO: Who was the Thatcham officer killed in a German bombing raid?




Thatcham Town Council’s Heritage Working Party will unveil its fifth Blue Plaque this weekend.

The plaque commemorates the first commanding officer of Thatcham Ordnance Depot, who was killed in a Luftwaffe bombing raid on August 16, 1940.

Find out more about him this Sunday (October 23) at 11am at the Burdwood Community Centre in Thatcham.
