The new entrance booth aims to create a working space for two people, a refreshments area, a storage area, a toilet and the ability to serve customers arriving in cars from a window on either side of the building.

It would be built on existing hardstanding at a junction between a car park and a road leading further into the park.

A recent application for the same gatehouse has already been approved.

The applicant is now re-applying to move the proposed structure 25 metres further into the site.

The applicant says the proposed gatehouse will avoid creating any detrimental aesthetic impact to the conservation area and local heritage asset.
