FORMER members of The Drifters - Maurice Cannon and Steve V King - front an evening of nostalgia at the Corn Exchange on Thursday, in – a spectacular night of the biggest music from the 50s and 60s. The evening’s host and lead singer, Steve V King performs some of the greatest tracks of the era – including tracks he performed during his time with The Drifters such as This and . Also leading on vocals is Maurice Cannon who recorded with The Drifters on both of the group’s former recording labels Atlantic and Sony. As a member of the group, he toured with the likes of Gloria Gaynor, The Four Tops and The Temptations. A baritone bass singer, he captures the audience with his soulful vocals.
