Winds of up to 80mph to hit on Monday

WINDS of up to 80mph are set to batter West Berkshire on Monday, the Met Office has warned.
It has issued an amber warning for wind for southern parts of the UK and says that at the same time, persistent, heavy rain could cause some surface water flooding.
It says that at this stage there is uncertainty about the timing and intensity, but warned the public should be prepared for the risk of falling trees as well as damage to buildings and other structures, bringing disruption to transport and power supplies.
The Met Office says it will give an update tomorrow morning (Sat).
Hampshire has also been issued with an amber warning, prompting police to issue safety advice.
