Winner of Thatcham Best Dressed Christmas Window competition revealed

Thatcham has a winner for its Best Dressed Christmas Window competition.

And the winner is House of Cards for the fourth year running.

The card shop, based in the Kingsland Centre, certainly played its cards right, receiving 78 votes in the annual festive competition run by Thatcham Town Council and the Newbury Weekly News.

Mayor of Thatcham Suzanne Adamantos and NWN editor Andy Murrill presented the trophy to shop assistants Kate Duncan and Pat Hadfield.

They said: “Lots of people have commented on it coming past saying how festive it looks. It shows off all our stock very well.

“Thank you to all of our customers.”

Thatcham Kitchen Designs came second with 52 votes.
