Dog of the Week: The latest dogs looking for their forever homes from Newbury Dogs Trust
Welcome to this week’s Dog of the Week.
Dogs Trust Newbury still has a number of dogs at its Hamstead Marshall base who need a new home.
And so every Sunday we will continue to shine a spotlight on one of them to try to help spread the word.
Nationwide, the charity currently has 819 dogs that are looking for a family to join.
You can find out more about adopting a dog by visiting the charity’s website.
Today we are introducing you to this handsome hound, Otto.
He is a three-year-old Lurcher who loves playtime, particularly when a tennis ball is involved. For Otto is all about fun and zoomies are also one of his favourite activities, showcasing his lurcher heritage in all its glory.
“And when it's time for adventure, Otto is always ready to hit the road, his love for car rides adding an extra dash of excitement to every outing,” said the Newbury centre.
“This charming boy lights up during his daily walks and is always eager to meet his doggy friends along the way.
While he does love socialising with his buddies, he would prefer to be the only pup in the household to soak up all the love and attention.
Otto is a clever boy and is already housetrained.
“With Otto by your side, every day promises to be filled with laughter, love, and a touch of mischief,” the trust added. “Embrace the journey with this spirited companion, and give Otto the loving home he deserves.”
